Connecting your account does not save every Chest. The owner turns a service on for one Chest at a time. A member does not see these switches.

How do I save one Chest to Google Drive?

  1. Connect Google Drive first. Dropbox and OneDrive work the same way.
  2. Open the Chest and then Chest settings.
  3. Under Also save this Chest, turn on Google Drive.
Photos and videos added after that are also saved in Google Drive. On Android, under the switches, OurChest says Photos added to this Chest are also saved to the services you turn on. Turn the switch off to stop saving new files from this Chest. That does not disconnect the account. Other Chests keep their own switches.

Where do the files go?

Look in the service you connected. There is a folder named OurChest, and inside it a folder with the Chest’s name. You do not create those folders yourself. Deleting a photo in OurChest does not remove the file already saved there. The connected sheet says Deleting an item in OurChest does not delete the file already saved there.

What if nothing is connected yet?

Also save this Chest shows Connect storage instead of the switches. Tap it to open Connected storage, connect a service, then come back and turn the switch on.

How do I send the files now?

Open the connected service from Settings. On that sheet, when the status is Connected, there is a button that sends files now for the Chests you have turned on. Retry failed tries again for files that did not finish. If saving stops, the switch under Also save this Chest says Saving stopped. Connect again. If a save does not finish, the notice says That could not be saved. Tap Try again, or Connect again when the service needs access.
